Can't wait till next week! Hopefully by then I will have recovered feeling in my thigh muscles. This was a BLAST! I can't wait for next week. Attended my first Broadway Bodies last Tuesday and had a GREAT time! The music was great, the instructor careful and encouraging and the atmosphere very friendly. The class is also a great workout -- everyone was sweating... it sure beats running on a damn treadmill. Can't wait to see the video from last night! Uptown Girl was fantastic!. On my week off in NYC I took the Broadway Bodies class. I sweated my butt off! I love a good cardio workout, but have always hated aerobics classes. The movement feels awkward and unnatural to me, and as a dancer, I never feel like those classes utilize my full range of motion. The movement in Broadway Bodies is inspired by dance, so it is more fluid, natural, and fun! I had a great time, thanks! I'll totally be back. I was worried because I've been to "beginner" classes at Broadway Dance Center where you've got these pretentious teenagers who have been dancing all their lives. We had about 40 Broadway Bodies Zombies come and dance in the Halloween Parade in Greenwich Village. It was great fun, amazing dancing, and we congratulate all of our "Single Zombies". Below are links from the Halloween Parade...
